First Aid training is a mandatory part of your Expedition Training Syllabus

First Aid certificates are valid for 3 years.

We offer DofE Participants a 6hr nationally certificated Emergency First Aid at Work Course at a cost of around £30 per person. The course is delivered by a qualified First Aid instructor who is also a DofE leader. First Aid training at this cost is not often available. It will serve you in good stead in all sorts of work as well as personal circumstances and will enhance your Career/ Employment choices.

This course will be customised towards expedition first aid. It is very interactive and will include practical scenario work outside (weather permitting). The course is appropriate for Bronze, Silver AND Gold ventures and will include learning CPR techniques using a Resusci Annie each, as well as defibrillator, anaphylaxis and Epi-pen training

Three courses will be held, on three dates, only one of which is necessary to attend. Timing: 8.45am – 4pm. Venue: Gillingham School MPH. You will need a packed lunch and comfy warm clothes. You will have your own 1st Aid book to take away
